How to Install Insulation Cotton for Anet A8 Plus 3D Printer

We’re glad that you choose our Anet A8 Plus 3D printer. Below are some brief introductions about how to install insulation cotton for it.

 

Step 1

Remove the four clips on the hotbed panel, and then take off the glass sheet.

 

Pull out the power cable gently from its socket.

 

Step 3

Uninstall the four screws at the corners of the hot bed

 

Step 4

Take the hot bed out from the printer and place its bottom side up on the desk.

 

Step 5

Place the insulation cotton onto the hot bed with a paralleled margin of 5-10mm to the power cable socket.

 

Step 6

Press the cotton down tight to the hot bed surface while removing the isolation paper gradually to ensure thorough adhesion between the cotton and the hot bed.

 

 

Step 7

Install the hot bed back at reverse steps according to previous uninstallation procedures.

 

Step 8

Set parameters required for printing ABS consumables on Cura.

 

  1. Set platform adhesion type to raft or brim to ensure tight ABS adhesion on the printing platform.
  2. Set printing temperature to 230 .
  3. Set bed temperature to 110 .
  4. Set fill density to 20% to avoid edge warping due to the high shrinkage of ABS material.
