Anet A8 Plus 3D Printer Complete DIY With Max Printing Size 300*300*350mm

Anet A8 Plus 3D printer can print 300*300*350mm object at 0.1 to 0.3mm layer resolution and 0.1mm print accuracy.

Slicing software is the foundation of 3D printing. A slicer sets printing parameters and turns stl files into 3D printable gcode files. It’s a must step before we can print on Anet A8 Plus 3D printer.
The Ultimaker Cura and Simplify3D are two commonly used slicers that we recommend for your daily 3D printing with A8 Plus.

1. Download and install the latest Arduino IDE. Link: https://www.arduino.cc/en/software
2. Download Anet A8 mainboard definition. Link: https://github.com/SkyNet3D/anet-board
3. Extract Anet A8 mainboard definition.
4. Copy the Arduino\Hardware folder to the Arduino installed location (Default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino) from the extracted Anet A8 board definition
5. Download the latest Marlin 2.x.x firmware.
6. Extract the Marlin firmware.
7. Copy \Config\Examples\Anet\A8plus to the \Marlin\ folder (same location as Marlin.ino) from the extracted Marlin firmware.
8. Connect USB to the A8 mainboard.
9. Open the installed Arduino IDE 10. Download and Install u8glib by Oliver
10-1. Click Sketch > Include Library, Click Manage libraries 10-2. Search U8Glib and make sure to select the correct one by Oliver 10-3. Click on “Install” 10-4. Click on “Close”
11. Click Tools > Board, Select Anet 1.0 (Optiboot) Note: small and fast bootloader for Arduino and other Atmel AVR chips
12. Click Port and select the assigned COM port NOTE: If wants to check if it’s connected, Click Tools > Get Board info. This will return information about the board if it’s connected.
13. Find the line in the Configuration.h: #define ANET_FULL_GRAPHICS_LCD
14. Comment it: //#define ANET_FULL_GRAPHICS_LCD
15. Find the line: //#define CR10_STOCKDISPLAY
16. Uncomment it: #define CR10_STOCKDISPLAY
17. Find the line: #define ENDSTOP_INTERRUPTS_FEATURE
18. Comment like this: //#define ENDSTOP_INTERRUPTS_FEATURE NOTE: The update and consolidation of TMC support into the TMC Stepper the library has made the ENDSTOP_INTERRUPTS feature incompatible with TMC drivers, until a workaround can be found.
19. Now it’s ready to upload the firmware, or add or remove features needed.

The most significant difference between the A8 and A8 Plus 3D printer is their print volumes. A8 3D printer prints only 220*220*250mm object while the A8 Plus prints 300*300*350mm object. Simply to say, you can print much larger object with A8 Plus 3D printer.
The second siginicant difference between the A8 and A8 Plus is their print beds. A8 has an aluminum hot bed while A8 Plus has a removable glass hot bed.
The third difference is the their frame materials. A8 has an acrylic frame but the A8 Plus frame is made of aluminum.
